Ahmed Abdalbagi Alamin Mohammed

Ahmed is one of the junior staff with a good experience covering the different aspects of water resources, hydraulic engineering, and irrigation management, he has got a chance of joining his newly recruited engineers in 2014 at Hydraulic Research Center in a roving training period at the different directorates of the ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity; namely : Planning, Dams & Nile Control, Water Resources and the Projects Directorate as well as HRC.

He gained experience during his work in Gash Agricultural Scheme in spate irrigation network program, Pumps calibration, calibration of the Hydraulic structure, besides weed control in Irrigation scheme, he has attended 1 st Annual Leadership Course in Flood-based farming and Water Harvesting in Nairobi, Kenya and Moshi, Tanzania in 2016. In April he attended an internship program of FBLN Network for two months in Wageningen, The Netherlands, as well as attending two courses in Egypt about hydraulics Engineering and Water management during period May 2019 – January 2020. He gained experience on hydrodynamic modeling for on-farm water management (WinSRFR), also he has developed his experience in several applied scientific software such as WMS, AquaCrop, CropWat, CLIMWAT, as well as other softwares for instance Spilstat, DNR, Surfer, Microsoft Office, Matlab, Autocad and GIS. His experience in excel and programming developed his skills in data analysis and process.
